Camille Aucoin - My Bio

Hi! I'm Camille. I am a sophomore at Consol with one brother and one sister, and I'm stuck in the middle of them. My brother Martin, who is 18, just moved out this past weekend to go to college at University of North Texas to study film. My sister Celeste is entering 6th grade at Oakwood. I am almost 16, my birthday being on Halloween. My personality color is green, but I'm not nearly as controlling and heartless as the personality test believes I am.

This summer, I took a break. Having started high school last year, I would say I thoroughly needed one. Among my break activites, I learned to play guitar (I already know mandolin and viola). In July, my family took a two week long vacation to Banff, Canada. We hiked, canoed, ate out and had a marvelous time. While driving around, we saw quite a multitude of wildlife including black and grizzly bears, mountain goats, deer, elk, pine martens, and ground squirrels. Unfortunately, you can't stay on vacation forever, so we were forced to return home. Upon my return home, I was considerably bored, so I took up frame-by-frame animation in Adobe Flash. My first animation, a comical retelling of my adventures in Freshman French class, took 15 days to complete and is about two minutes long.

This school year, I look forward to new adventures, friends, and skills to take with me into life (and I hope it's better than freshman year...). I'm taking exciting new classes, and I hope they turn out to be as fun as I think they will. Altogether, it's going to be a great year!
